Laurel Lakes
Most of the homes in Laurel Lakes were built in the 1980's and 1990's, mostly townhomes and condominiums. The community is located behind (to the west of) the Laurel Lakes Shopping Center and is accessible from Route 1 via Cypress Street and Mulberry Street or from Cherry Lane via Ashford Boulevard.
Shopping and restaurants are easily accessible from the homes of Laurel Lakes, even by foot. Five restaurants are located along Laurel Place, while the Laurel Lakes Shopping Center (after a major reconstruction completed in 2005) contains Safeway, Best Buy, Lowe's, and several other stores - plus another half-dozen places to eat.
Laurel Lakes townhomes are located along Ashford Boulevard and Oxford Drive. There are several different "mini-communities" of 2- and 3-story models, most with garages. The area overlooking the north side of the main Laurel Lake is full of townhouses.
