Easton Homes

The county seat for Talbot County, Easton has over 300 years of history. The city is located just a few miles inland from the Chesapeake Bay on the Tred Avon River. The Third Haven Meeting House was built in 1682 and is the oldest religious building in continuous use in the United States. In recent years Easton has developed as the cultural center for this portion of the Eastern Shore. The Avalon Theatre originally opened in 1921 as a venue for movies and vaudeville acts and today is operated as a non-profit performing arts center. The Easton Waterfowl Festival, held each November, is an enormous celebration of wildlife-related arts such as decoys, photography and crafts.
